Claudio terms of use

Draft for the private beta. Version 25 October 2026. To be reviewed by a lawyer before publication: items in square brackets must be completed.

1. What this is about

Claudio is a personal assistant based on artificial intelligence that lives in your chats. Today it is on WhatsApp. It answers you, remembers what you tell it, sends you reminders and, if you connect it, manages your calendar. The service is provided by [Company name and address – company being incorporated in Switzerland] ("we"). By writing to Claudio you accept these terms and the privacy notice (https://askclaudio.com/privacy).

Claudio is an independent product: it uses Anthropic's models but is not affiliated with Anthropic, Meta (WhatsApp) or Google.

2. Private beta

Claudio is a beta version, open to the first 100 people who write to it. During the beta:

We need your feedback: give it in the chat or at [email protected].

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and use your own phone number. Your number is your account.

4. Messages from Claudio

At first contact we ask whether you want to receive messages that start from Claudio: reminders you set, a briefing in the morning, a message in the evening, notices about the service. You can change the times of the briefing and the evening message, or switch them off, at any time by telling Claudio or by writing STOP. Reminders you set still arrive unless you cancel them. WhatsApp messages are free for you.

5. An artificial intelligence, with its limits

Claudio is not a person, and it tells you so. Its answers are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check important information. Claudio gives no medical, legal, financial or tax advice: on those topics it can help you get oriented, but the decision is yours and, when needed, a professional's.

6. When Claudio acts for you

Claudio can do concrete things: create, move or delete events in your calendar, set reminders and, in future, more. The rules:

7. Fair use

You may not use Claudio for illegal activities, to harass or deceive other people, to try to access other users' data or to circumvent the service's protections, or to generate content that infringes third parties' rights. Do not share passwords, card numbers or one-time codes with Claudio: it does not need them and must not keep them.

8. Your content

What you write stays yours. You allow us to process it only to make Claudio work for you, as described in the privacy notice. We do not use your content for advertising or to train models.

9. Closing your account

You can stop whenever you want: write to [email protected] (deleting your account from the chat is coming soon); after your confirmation we delete your data within 30 days. We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these terms or abuse of the service, notifying you when possible.

10. Liability

Claudio is provided "as is", free of charge and in beta. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or for damage arising from wrong information given by Claudio, from actions you confirmed, from service interruptions or from the conduct of third-party providers (WhatsApp, Google and the like). Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we tell you in the chat before they take effect; if you keep using Claudio after that date, you accept them. The current version is always at https://askclaudio.com/terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction: [company seat], without prejudice to the mandatory consumer forums of the country where you live.
