Draft for the private beta. Version 25 October 2026. To be reviewed by a lawyer before publication: items in square brackets must be completed.
Claudio is a personal assistant based on artificial intelligence that you talk to on WhatsApp. This page explains, plainly, what data we process, why, with whom and for how long, and what your rights are.
Controller: [Company name, legal form, address – company being incorporated in Switzerland; until then, the person named by the lawyer]. Contact for anything about your data: [email protected].
Claudio is an independent product. It uses Anthropic's models, but it is not affiliated with Anthropic, Meta or Google.
Claudio is not a person. It says so in its first message and whenever you ask. Its answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes: check important information. Claudio makes no decisions with legal effects on you and does not delete anything or act outside your chat without your explicit confirmation.
| Data | Where it comes from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your phone number | From WhatsApp, when you write | It is your identifier: that is how Claudio knows it is you |
| The messages you exchange with Claudio | From you | To answer you and keep the thread of the conversation |
| Claudio's memory about you (people, preferences, dates, plans you tell it about) | Written by Claudio from your conversations | To be useful over time without you repeating things |
| Reminders, briefings and scheduled messages | From what you ask and your settings | To send them when you want them |
| Calendar data (events, times, places, titles) | From Google Calendar, only if you connect it | To read, create, change or delete your events at your request |
| Language and time zone | Inferred from your number and how you write; tell Claudio where you live and it updates your time zone | To answer in your language and at the right time |
| Consents you gave (age, terms, privacy, receiving messages), with date and channel | From you | To prove you gave them |
| Action log (for example "event created", "reminder sent") | Generated by Claudio | So you can see what it did and why |
| Technical data (timestamps, delivery results, errors, message costs) | From running the service | To run the service, measure its costs and fix errors |
We process no payment data during the beta. Claudio is instructed not to ask for or store passwords, card numbers or one-time codes; if you send them, it asks you not to and does not save them to its memory.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models, and the providers we use are contractually bound not to do so either.
To work, Claudio relies on these providers, which process data on our behalf and under our instructions:
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Railway (hosting and database) | Hosts Claudio and stores the data | European Union (Amsterdam) |
| Anthropic (artificial-intelligence models) | Generates Claudio's answers from the conversation and the memory | United States. Does not use the data to train models; keeps it for the technically necessary time and for abuse checks, under its commercial terms |
| Twilio (messaging) | Receives and sends WhatsApp messages on Claudio's behalf | United States |
| WhatsApp / Meta | Carries the messages between you and Claudio | Under WhatsApp's privacy policy, which applies to your use of WhatsApp |
| Google (only if you connect the calendar) | Gives access to your calendar with your authorisation | Under Google's privacy policy |
For providers outside Switzerland and the European Union we rely on the safeguards the law provides (standard contractual clauses and, where available, the Data Privacy Framework). We plan to move model processing to Europe before opening to the public.
We share your data with nobody else, unless the law requires it.
The connection is made through a one-time link and goes through Google's authorisation screen. Claudio asks only for permission to read and change the events in your calendar and to know the email address of the connected account, to show it to you. Access keys are stored encrypted. Claudio does not invite other people to events and does not change events shared with others. You can disconnect the calendar at any time by telling Claudio or from your Google account settings: either way, access is revoked and the keys are deleted.
Claudio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Encrypted connections (TLS) with every provider; access keys for third-party services encrypted in the database; access to data limited to the people running the service and logged; data hosted in the European Union. The account-connection pages contain no third-party scripts or trackers. No system is completely secure: if something happens that concerns you, we will tell you.
